Jean-François Juilliard
Passionate collector of contemporary ceramics, a long time occasional collaborator of the “Journal of Ceramics and Glass” as well as Modern Ceramics, member of the Board of Directors of the workshop gallery “Le Lavoir” in Clamart and faithful collaborator of the Biennale of Sèvres Artceram, he participated in the founding of the association “Les Céramophiles” of which he was the first vice-president. For the past two years, he has been organizing the participation of ceramists in the Chateau-Chalon Art Market (39): “l’Art se dévoile”.
Paola Lumbroso
Installed at the Flea Market in Saint-Ouen since 1993, Paola Lumbroso is an antiques dealer who specializes in 20th century ceramics. The passion for this art, propelled her in 2002 into the world of contemporary ceramics, to which she will pay tribute through multiple individual and collective exhibitions, which the press widely echoes. Dynamic and entrepreneurial by nature, Paola Lumbroso puts all her energy into making ceramics, glass and fire arts in general recognized as specific artistic expressions.
Bernard Bachelier
Bernard Bachelier, born in 1950, has been collecting ceramics for over twenty years. His collection is the subject of exhibitions and catalogues, including bowls, featured in a special book entitled “the bowl”, being itself the most abstract container. He gave a set of these bowls to the Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon. He contributed to the “Revue de la Céramique et du Verre”” from 2011 to 2016 and created the “Club des Collectionneurs de Céramique” in 2013. Agricultural Engineer by training, he dedicated his professional career to Research and Development.
Paul-François Luciani
Paul-Francois Luciani’s expertise is based on his studies at ESTP and his past duties as DGA as a subsidiary of a large CAC 40 group and CEO of the eponymous group. His associative commitment led him to be administrator of the “Amis du musée de Sèvres” in charge of Philantropy & sponsoring. A lecturer, he broadcasts communications on French porcelain in the 18th century under its political, economic and artistic aspects. Collector, the axis of his acquisitions is the western porcelain of the 18th century with a particular attention to soft porcelain. The Sèvres section of his collection concerns works from the beginning of the Manufacture to the present day.
Florence Brouillard
Studied Chinese and Japanese ceramics at the Guimet Museum. Worked for three years at the Kisaragi Gallery (Paris), Japanese Ceramics Art Gallery. Worked for many years at the Kimonoya (Paris) store of Japanese Crafts and Art. Wrote several articles in “The Journal of Ceramics and Glass”. Has worked for three years at the Clamart “Lavoir” as artistic director.
Stanley Neff
As a French-American architect Stanley Neff is also a passionate art collector since an early age.
During the 80’s, working in Los Angeles on the west coast he began collecting ceramics.
Since then between Paris and the Sologne region in France he organized several contemporary ceramiste exhibits in an art gallery created 17 years ago with his wife.
For the past eight years he is the curator of the Biennale de Sologne for monumental sculptures of which 150 will be presented outdoors during it’s 8th édition in September 2023 including thirty large scale installations by 10 renowned contemporary ceramists.
